BC-Garden of Eden

When you first look at this painting and it's name you would think it's just a painting of a bible story. Adam and Eve in the 

bible where in the bible the first humans and they didn't live really on earth they lived at a place called the garden of Eden. Also according to the bible god made them promise not to touch or eat the forbidden fruit and the devil or satin talked them into into eating it and they were kicked out of the garden of Eden like it shows in the painting. This painting was also made by an American named Thomas Cole in America during western expansion and for some ideas on what to paint depicting the garden of Eden Cole went to the west and drew some of the landscape there. What I liked about this painting is the bright colors of Eden and it's contrast to the dark colors of the external world. Eden has pretty mountain tops while the outside world has erupting volcanoes. Eden has prancing deer and the outside world has wolfs. That's what is cool about this painting it's like he painted half then he had another person come in and paint the rest of the painting.
