Summer by Claude Monet is an artifact that was made in 1874. When Monet and his artist friends the painters Renoir and Manet went to look at work they made that got rejected be the official "salon" and they Argenteuil where they tried to perfect their artist style.Monet created this sun drenched medoew with lazy mountains in the back round. Paul Cezanne would say to Ambroise Vollard that Monet was an eye but by god what an eye. Monet's artifact is a painting using oil on canvas the style of Monet's work is french Impressionism.i chose this piece because it reminds me of a place I might go just to get away and think. It's and empty medoew with no one around to tell you what to do, your all by yourself your free for a little while. There's no one anywhere to stop you. I think Monet had found this place when he was trying to go somewhere no one would find him and when he say this place stranded with now one in sight he sat down and started to draw it and is beauty. The picture captures such a magnificent sight to see the medoew with the water in the back it looks like there are rolling mountains in the back round, the trees still have color on the leaves it makes the whole scene look perfect .
